Davan Enterprises, located in Bristol, Tennessee, began in 2012 as a multitude of different businesses from consulting to online retail store and more. After some time, it was realized that insurance was our true passion. A passion for helping businesses and protecting families. That’s when we employed our tagline, “Helping Businesses. Protecting Families!”.
 
Prior to 2012 the owner’s experience came from restaurants and hospitality where a lot of his customer service and business acumen have stemmed from. We believe in helping the customer, turning them into clients and following the guiding principles of the Bible. We have been a part of both captive and independent insurance agencies in the area. In addition to providing insurance solutions we also love to help teach and educate others on both insurance topics as well as Biblical Leadership Principles.   • Do I need to Get an Insurance License?

    If you are wanting to sell and market to the senior community through medicare and final expense life insurance as a Senior Marketing Specialist then yes you will need to take a pre-licensing course and pass a state exam among addition certification.  


    If you desire to be a Small Business Solutions Specialist helping to provide Pre-Paid Legal Services to business owners and employees then some states require a license but not an exam or licensing course.

  • What is the Process to Get an Insurance License?

    This is the most lucrative route in working with our Agency.  As a licensed agent you will have access to ALL of our products and services to offer clients. This is a multi-step process and takes from two-weeks to one month to complete.

    1. Study and Pass the State Insurance Exam
    2. Pass a Background Check and Fingerprinting
    3. Obtaining Professional Liability Insurance (E&O)
    4. Carrier Contracting and Company Appointments
    5. Product and Sales Training
    6. Ready to Serve!
  • Do You Provide Training?

    Beyond our carrier and product specific training we will teach you sales techniques along with time management and business tracking skills in addition to how to network and create a referral network and center of influence.  Many trainings are self study.

  • What Are the Costs for Getting An Insurance License As A Senior Marketing Specialist??

    There are a few "start-up" costs involved with obtaining an Insurance License.  These costs can vary based on state of residence.  The following costs are based on Tennessee Residents.  We believe it is an important display of one's own level of determination to have "skin in the game" by absorbing these inital costs.  However, some fees may be reimbursed or subsidized based on performance.

    • Life & Health Pre-Licensing Course = $69.95
    • State Exam = $52.00
    • Fingerprinting & Background Check = $40.00
    • License Application Fee =$30.00
    • AHIP Certification = $125.00
    • TOTAL LICENSE FEES = $316.95

    These Fees Are Not Payed All At Once And Will Be Spread Out As One Step Is Completed.

  • What Are The Costs Associated with the Non-Licensed Small Business Solutions Specialist?

    In order to be able to market Small Business Solutions Pre-Paid Legal Services you do have to be a member of the service itself.  Members who use the plan are the best advocates.  It is a service worth having.


    Although this product is not technically an insurance product, some states require an "Legal License" or Line of Authority.


    • Monthly Legal Plan Membership = $24.95
    • Associate Fee (One-time) = $99.00
    • License Fee (TN) = $30 (VA is $75)
    • Total First Month = $153.95

    On Going Monthly Costs:

    • Legal Shield Membership = $24.95
    • Legal Shield Advantage = $20.95
